Founding editor Megan Bladen-Blinkoff explains: It was late. A group of us were gathered in a hotel room giggling, gossiping, and rehashing the long but fun day at a mystery fan convention.
Someone (I forget who) mentioned a friend who wasn't able to attend. Another sympathized with all those who couldn't make it. Another person giggled, "Yeah, if my readers could see me now."
Through this sleep deprived haze of enthusiasm and fun, an idea was born--a party on paper, disguised as a newsletter.
Now the Femmes Fatales bring their wit and wisdom to cyberspace via this website.
